Liliana Miranda, CPA

Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Banking Officer (CCBO)
Liliana Miranda serves as Chief Commercial Banking Officer for WestStar, a premier financial services company in the Borderplex area (El Paso, TX; Las Cruces, NM; and Northern Mexico) with more than $3 billion in assets. Liliana is responsible for leading the commercial lending team, treasury management, and loan operations.

Liliana has been in banking for 25 years and served in several senior roles within the bank, including Chief Risk Officer, where she was responsible for overseeing the governance and strategy for risk management and compliance, including the development and implementation of risk management measures throughout the bank. She also has served as Senior Vice President and Auditor, in which she was responsible for overseeing and providing direction over the internal audit, loan review, and compliance functions. Before joining WestStar (then Bank of the West) in 2002, Liliana was a Senior Auditor for the “Big Four” accounting firm, KPMG.

Liliana is involved with industry and community organizations. She currently serves as President of the Texas Chapter of the Risk Management Association and is a Governing Board Member of The Hospitals of Providence East Campus. She is also a past president of Hospice of El Paso Board of Directors and past president of the St. Raphael Catholic School Board.

Liliana has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas; she is also a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University and received the Recognition of Leadership honor.
